TASTING NOTES
Château La Gorce 2016 presents an expressive nose. The fruit red elegantly blends with the characters complex aging of grilled hazelnuts and undergrowth. AT airing, its bouquet becomes more complex with the appearance of nuances of cherry, raspberry and a floral touch of violet.

The 2016 Château La Gorce is a wine that combines finesse and character and perfectly reflects the success of the vintage in the North of Medoc.

A nice surprise that this Cru Bourgeois du Médoc on a 2016 vintage which proves to be more and more qualitative combining maturity and freshness. The winemaker offers us a sappy, structured and velvety wine at the same time. Cabernet sauvignon slightly dominates Merlot for a fruity, finely toasted wine, combining power and elegance. Do not hesitate to taste it today after decanting for one hour.

Chateau La Gorce
Created during the 1820s and belonging to the Martin family for two years, Château La Gorce has always been part of the Crus Bourgeois since the first classification in 1932. Here is therefore a traditional vineyard of the Médoc that the owners strive to modernize as time goes by. and in particular by the conversion of the domain to organic since the 2019 vintage. A castle with growing evolution!
